Immerse Studio Jacket Design Contest Guidelines

Contest Overview

Immerse Studio is excited to announce our first-ever jacket design contest! We are calling all talented artists and fans to submit their unique jacket designs. The winning design will be featured on our merchandise page, and the designer will receive a cash prize of $100 and a printed jacket.

Submission Requirements

1. Eligibility: The contest is open to all artists and fans of Immerse Studio. Participants must be at least 18 years old. No purchase is necessary!  Artists may submit up to 3 three designs.

2. Design Criteria:

   • The design must be original and not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks.

   • The design should be appropriate for all audiences.

   • The design should incorporate elements that reflect Immerse Studio's brand and community.

   • The winning artist's name can be incorporated into the design, as long as it does not detract from the overall aesthetic.

3. Format:

   • Submissions should be in high-resolution digital format (JPEG, PNG, or PDF). The winner agrees to submitting a high resolution file within 7 days of being selected 

   • The design should be suitable for printing on the back panel of jacket (see picture for reference)

   • The file should be 1920x1920 pixels, with an alpha transparent background (not black and white).

4. Submission Process:

   • Entries must be submitted via the link

   • Include your full name, contact information, and social media handles (if you wish to be tagged).
      

Contest Timeline

• Submission Period: July 12th 2024 to August 12th 2024.

• Judging Period: August 12th to August 19th.

• Winner Announcement: August 19th 2024.
   

Judging Criteria

The winning design will be chosen based on the following criteria:

1. Creativity: Originality and artistic expression.

2. Relevance: How well the design represents Immerse Studio.

3. Marketability: Appeal to a broad audience and suitability for merchandise.
    

Prizes

• The winner will be selected by Immerse Studio and receive:

  • Grand Prize: $100 cash prize (sent via venmo or zelle) 

  • One (1) jacket in the size of their choosing.

• The winning design will be featured on Immerse Studio’s merchandise page.

• The artist will be credited, and their social media handles will be tagged in promotional materials.

• Timing: Winner will be sent cash prize within 3 days of submitting final high resolution files of design. Final jacket will be sent within 30 days of submission of requested size.
   

Legal Terms

1. Intellectual Property: By submitting a design, participants grant Immerse Studio the right to use, reproduce, and distribute the design for marketing and commercial purposes. The winner agrees to transfer all intellectual property rights to Immerse Studio upon receipt of the cash prize.

2. Originality: Participants must ensure their designs are original and do not infringe on any third-party rights. Immerse Studio is not responsible for any legal action taken against the participant for copyright infringement.

3. Publicity: By entering the contest, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and design in promotional materials without additional compensation.

4. Modifications: Immerse Studio reserves the right to make modifications to the winning design for production purposes.

5. Disqualification: Any participant found violating the guidelines or engaging in fraudulent activities will be disqualified.
